The Chinese side welcomes the increasingly  close people-to-people exchanges between China and Tanzania, and is pleased to see with satisfaction that more and more Tanzanian friends are traveling to China.

There are no policy barriers for Tanzanian citizens to apply for Chinese visas. At present, visa applications submitted by Tanzanian citizens have been handled in an orderly and efficient manner. In view of the growing number of visa applicants, the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania is taking various measures to enhance its visa processing capacity and improve the efficiency and quality of visa services.

At the same time, given the current processing capacity and the huge volume of applications, applicants are kindly advised to  follow these instructions:

1.Please allow sufficient time for visa processing. Applicants are encouraged to submit their online visa applications at least 3 weeks prior to the intended departure date.

3.Please check the online visa application system regularly and respond promptly to requests for revision or supplementary documents. Failure to do so may lead to delays in the processing of the application.
