On May 25, Chinese Ambassador to Tanzania H.E. Chen Mingjian and the Chinese Embassy staff attended the Africa Day Marathon 2025, co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania and the African Diplomatic Corps in Tanzania.

The theme of the Africa Day 2025, as adopted by the Africa Union Summit, was “Justice for Africans & People of African Descent through Reparations”. H.E. Dr. Samwel Shelukindo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of Tanzania, Ambassadors of Comoros, Indonesia, Kenya, Burundi and other foreign diplomats in Tanzania, and local participants took part in the marathon event.
