On 5-7th December, H.E. Ambassador Liu Xinsheng visited Musoma, Tabora and Dodoma and met with 15 Chinese doctors in the three cities.

Ambassador Liu praised the doctors’ hard work and thanked them for their contributions to the friendship between the peoples of China and Tanzania. He also took this opportunity to wish the doctors a happy new year and a pleasant and fruitful stay in Tanzania.

Chinese Government has been sending doctors to Tanzania as part of Sino-Tanzania cooperation since 1964. 20 batches of teams, with each batch on a 2-year basis have finished their service in Tanzania. The current doctors are the 21st batch of doctors from China, they have arrived Tanzania in August 2009.
