In accordance with the guidelines of the Chinese government to prevent the spread of Covid-19, and following the uniform policy to the applicants of all countries, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Tanzania, at present, remains unable to resume visa services to regular visa applicants except for the following types of visa application.

1. Foreign nationals holding Foreigner's Residence Permit of China for work, private matters or family reunion that expired after 0 a.m., 28 March 2020 needs to visit China for the same purpose as shown on the Residence Permit, and with relevant materials as required;

2. Diplomats(including their accompanying spouse and children under the age of 18) who are assigned to the Embassies and Consulates in China;

3. Foreign nationals with humanitarian emergencies and those whose application are specially approved by the Chinese government.

In view of any adjustment made in an orderly manner regarding Chinese visa, the Embassy will make timely update.
